How Much I Earn from YouTube

What’s up guys, aalia here! A common misconception I think a lot of people have is how much money YouTubers earn. Some people think YouTubers earn nothing, some people think they’re earning millions. Technically, there are some YouTubers who earn millions, but anyway, I wanted to share exactly how much I’m earning from YouTube. I only have around fifty to sixty thousand subscribers, and I get a couple of hundred thousand views a month, nothing too crazy. I’ll share with you what I’ve earned in the last twelve months.

My YouTube Earnings

In the last twelve months, I have earned a whopping $8,991. If I divide that over twelve months, it’s around $750 per month. When you put it like that, $750 a month isn’t that great if you’re looking to make YouTube a full-time job. This means you need a lot more views to make a full-time income from YouTube.

If we look at how many views I’ve got over the last 365 days, it’s 3.9 million. So, that translates to around $9,000. Can you imagine?

Other Income Sources

YouTube isn’t my only source of income. I also have my own company where we sell products and provide design work for companies and brands. This is a more lucrative source of income for me, as I can make around $600 a day from client work, which is much better than what I make from YouTube.

I do YouTube because I enjoy it. I love sharing my experiences and opinions, and I think that’s why a lot of my subscribers are here. It’s the creative aspect and the joy of sharing knowledge that keeps me on YouTube.

Let’s get into the specifics of where my money comes from. Over the last three months, I’ve had the best earnings from YouTube, making over $1,000 per month. This spike in earnings was due to my Apple-related content. People are always excited about new Apple products, and these are the months when Apple content does really well on my channel.

If we look at my top-earning videos, we can see that my most popular video has been my “Apple Refurbished” video, which earned $755 from 314,000 views. It’s funny because I made that video in about 20 minutes, and it did really well. This shows that sometimes, videos you don’t put a lot of effort into can become big hits, while videos you spend days working on might not perform as well.

Videos that are longer generally earn more money, as you can insert more ads in a 10-minute video. This is why my longer videos tend to make more money, even if they don’t have as many views as shorter videos.

In conclusion, while YouTube is a nice source of additional income, it’s not enough to sustain a living on its own. I continue to do it because I enjoy it, but my main source of income comes from other ventures I have outside of YouTube.
