Last year i moved out into a new home with my wife where there was another room for me to make an office the one that i had prior where i actually worked from over a year ago was basically sitting at an old dining table because it was massive and I could put all my monitors on there and all my computer equipment on there and i didn’t have to worry i could just draw and you’ve seen a lot of videos from back then on this channel obviously now we’ve got like a new office space where We can like come to work and do videos but being at home and having an office space at home is still really important to me not just for chilling out but also for when i’m doing work from home and playing games so over the past few Months i have been kitting out my office with neo-me helping me by my side picking things that i need in the office to make it look the best it can so today i’m going to be giving you an in-depth rundown of my new office at home.

The Desk

So the First thing that you see when you get into the office is obviously my desk it is the prime of the room it’s what i want to look at it’s where i spend most of my time now this sits standing desk called the yoyo desk pro 2 was kindly Gifted to us from sitsdam.com i got the largest one which is about 180 centimeters which is huge and it fits everything that i need on there so the yoyo desk pro 2 is an amazing sit stand this not only because you can stand up but it’s motorized as well it remembers All of the space that you need so you can kind of just set it to a height and plug it into a button and whenever you press that button it’ll go to that height and you’ll also have controls to bring it up and down sitstand.com sent Me this desk for this video because i wanted the biggest desk i could get in a certain color but with more functionality as well so not only do we have this huge sit-stand motorized desk we also have usb plugs at the back and uk power sockets at the back and yes i Know uk power sockets look weird compared to everywhere else in the world but this is a really neat feature to have one that i’ve not seen in any other desk simply because the monitor power the power plug for that needs to not be on the floor otherwise that monitor is Going to go splat on the floor when you lift the desk up or you’re going to need a massive power cable for that monitor so thank you sit stand for giving me that desk and for showing it to my subscribers i would highly recommend that desk i’ll go into more of the other Little features around the room such as the map that you see on the floor and everything else later on.

The Monitor and Accessories

Now the elephant in the room of this video is that ginormous monitor and who in the world would have a monitor that wide that would be me for about a year now I’ve wanted the widest monitor possible because not well not because of just productivity although it’s very nice to have but i wanted one for when i’m in my downtime playing games watching videos and just having the best experience possible this is the samsung cr g9 and it’s 120 hertz refresh rate monitor and It is amazing…

Other Features in the Room

Looking around the room you can see it has been changed the whole room is different it is a lot better you can see that we’ve got new lights in there at the Back of my desk we’ve got some philips hue strip led lights and they’re really nice for just some ambience behind the monitor i find that when you’re staring into like a bright monitor of any sort for a long time it can give you a lot of eye strain and especially with this Monitor because it is very bright but having those lights in the background just being able to put them onto your phone press a button and have any sort of color that you want in any brightness that you want really makes that back part not so contrasting it really Flattens it out for my eyes and it looks amazing turning around i’ve got a chair and this chair you can’t see much of it it’s a very cheap ergonomic chair that i got of amazon for about 200 pounds i see that’s cheap it’s not really cheap but If you look at like herman miller they’ve got like chairs like a thousand pounds which is probably over 1 500 which is pretty crazy to me and although i’d love one i just cannot bring myself to spend that much money on an office chair we also went ahead and Purchased a sofa now that sofa came in the wrong color completely like we ordered it in like a gray to match everything else but it kind of came in like this really dark charcoal which you know really peed me and narrowed me off but you know me Being a genius she knew that she could cover this with something i did not know existed a sofa cover it comes out into a sofa bed it works really well…
