Okay so first of all guys shout out to mikael for letting them use their redbubble account for this video. The no indexing issue that is still happening to a lot of rebel stores has been a major concern. During a recent stream, Mikael asked for an audit of their Redbubble store, and when the owner did so, they couldn’t find their products. However, interestingly enough, since the stream, the shop is now indexed on Google, but the products are still not indexed. Upon further inspection, every single design had a common issue – the “no index” tag in the source code of the page. This raises the question of why these no indexing issues are occurring and how they can be fixed.

The No Index Tag

Upon inspecting the source code of the Redbubble store, it was found that the “no index” tag was present in the HTML code of every product. This tag is used by webmasters to prevent content from being indexed by search engines. Essentially, Redbubble itself is using this tag to prevent the designs from being indexed, effectively shadow banning the store owners. The reasons behind this shadow banning could be related to the country the owner is from, the use of automatic uploaders, tag spamming, or copyright issues.
