the dark which was very fun i will say naomi has done most the work on this but i’m coming on camera to take All of the credit we’ve reached out to five different designers on fiverr to get will a logo for his new fictional gamer clan gamer clan yes what was what inspired you for the gamer clan because you are a massive nerd in the words of your wife i play world of warcraft exactly massive Nerd so this is what we’ve sent out to the designers on fiverr hi i’m looking for a gamer logo for will he is a designer but i’m wanting to get him a clan logo for fun as he’s a game nerd who loves world of warcraft and league of legends Yeah i would love the logo to incorporate elements of design and drawing as people recognize him for that as well as be functional for him to use as his clan logo i’m very open to interpretation i would love to see your creative flair his clan name is helvetica And they’re tagged pens over swords pens over swords pens over swords i’d love the logo to incorporate both gamer and designer elements he also likes all things space right okay so i’m guessing that you’ve got logos for me in these price brackets so we’ve got 25 30 60 100 and 250 sellers but it’s not a bad one For a game i know the thing is with with gaming logos they have a g effect this one is less gfx than that and i like that i like the fact that it’s the typography is helvetica i mean the obvious one what’s the name of it pen what The tagline is pens over swords okay so you’ve got the tagline yeah hence the pen you’ve got the tagline in there i mean it’s all right for a logo that’s not scalable i’ll be honest but as a gfx logo someone who loves to play games it’s cool to have on the background of Your stream if you were streaming how’s that that’s fair enough isn’t it okay so this one can i use this one first yeah absolutely second version of this one oh so we’ve got two versions okay okay sort of different color palette different color palette yeah no that’s cool Uh it’s just the background’s different which is nice it’s good to see it working in positive negative you’ll find like a lot of these logos will be like that like you know that you can do that so it’s good to know it’s very clean design i must admit so You said that’s more of an illustration than a logo yeah is there like a process you could go through to take that from an illustration and make it a logo like what is it that makes it in illustration rather than usable as a logo well because of the amount of colors are Inside the design it’s not something that can be scaled down and if it’s in pure black and white you can’t see it it’s not like a single shape so what they could do is instead of having the flames inside the fountain pen they could make the fountain pen into a Flame and then it could be one colour that’s it i mean the typography should be at the bottom but i understand why he’s done it so oh she’s done it very clever i mean it’s more of an illustration but you’ll find that gamer tags are more illustrative logos i’m gonna call this one I’m gonna say that this one is thirty dollars thirty dollars okay i’m gonna call the first one thirty dollars i don’t think it’s gonna be more than thirty dollars i could be wrong i’m most likely wrong let’s go to the second one you could be about to lose all cred as a designer It’s not fair because everyone else knows what i’m doing i don’t know what i’m doing logo two and again you’ve got a a couple of options on this one yep go for it i’m ready there you go i’ll take out the first option okay how about it this is a mock-up one I like this one i don’t i understand the gamepad but i’m a pc gamer nerd but this guy probably didn’t know i mean like i’m i’m being particular i mean particular i mean that’s not even the object well you should have i like the use of um i think that’s helvetica met with Uh customized ease which is pretty cool but it’s nice and clean i like the look of it being clean and that is a good logo and it works well when you mock up a logo it always makes it better this is the second version yeah ah now that’s more like it The reason i like that one because the gamepad although it’s very cliche having a gamepad i mean and it’s not really a clan logo it’s more minimalistic and i like that because i am a designer it has to be more minimal less illustrative i think having that Works better because i can use it as an icon and then also the full type thing again the pens over swords tagline i wouldn’t want that but that’s it i like it as a logo that works better for me it’s very literal you’ve taken the brief very literal it’s very literal And that’s okay i don’t mind that the problem i have is i don’t know it’s so hard to put a price on that so basically i’m just judging it
