Hey guys, Olia here. So a video she’s yet to see is comparing the black iPhone 7 versus the space gray iPhone 6 and the 6S. This year, Apple has brought out two new colors to replace the space gray: a normal black and a jet black. The space gray has been completely replaced, and now you can’t get it on the iPhone 7, only on the 6S, 6, and the SE.

Comparison of Colors

Olia wasn’t a fan of the space gray and has always wanted a black iPhone. The new black iPhone has a stealthy finish and all the buttons, the Apple icon on the back, and the antenna wires are all black. The antenna lines on the new iPhones are now well blended into the design and match the colors, compared to the old iPhones where the lines were very noticeable.

Similar Feel

Both of the iPhones feel the same, with a similar finish. One thing Olia didn’t like about the space gray iPhone was that it had a silvery finish and didn’t look properly gray. The black on the black iPhone, however, is very stealthy and completely black. Everything, including the screen, buttons, and ports, are black without any chrome finishes.

Physical Differences

The camera hump on the back of the iPhone 7 is much bigger compared to the iPhone 6, as it needs to contain the new lens and photo capabilities. This also means it sticks out a bit more than the older iPhone.

Overall Impressions

Olia is pretty happy with the black iPhone and is also waiting on the jet black. She plans to compare those two as well and hopes everyone enjoys the video.
