Carlos Segura Asks Difficult Questions (90 mins)
Ladies and gentlemen, I’m talking to Carlos Segura. He’s prepared some questions to test my resolve, to test my ability to think on my feet. None of this has been prepared, so I have no idea what to expect except for to expect the unexpected. The legend himself is going to lead this conversation. We’ll go where we go, that’s it. Let’s start with this.
Self-Awareness
Who do you think you are and who do you think you’re perceived as?
“I think I’m a design snob, very direct, and sometimes can come across as rude. It really comes from a place of caring and not wanting to mince words. Challenge
I have a question for you. You said the minutes before something threw you off. Can you share with me?
“I have a friend who I described with the most love possible and he just called me and was rather hurt and possibly offended by it. It didn’t come that way from my heart, but it made me feel very sad. It touches on the answer that you gave me a little while ago, maybe it’s…
[Conversation continues]
It’s important to address difficult questions and challenges, as they help us grow and learn more about ourselves and others. Embracing self-awareness and understanding perception can lead to deeper connections and empathy. Keep asking the difficult questions, keep pushing boundaries, and keep learning from every experience.
