Hey guys what is going on welcome back i just finished recording that other video and i realized that i could maybe let you guys into a little secret and maybe give you some information that you could actually find really really useful so basically what i’m going to do is i’m Going to try and identify where my 20 sale came from precisely if i can so the first thing i’m going to do is i’m going to go on pages today and i’m going to see uh here it is so check out success which is the sale and Love you moses design this could be me but it’s interesting it says people here so it seems if that’s this could be me though so it was the floor pillow right hang on let’s go on pager’s report just to open this up a little bit more And then when you click on pages report it’ll automatically put it on the last week so you’ve got to click on today and press apply here this will then give you the page views the unique page views page on uh average time on page entrances bounce rate exit And page value you can add more filters if you want but i’m just going to leave it at uh what it’s at now already i can see this is pretty interesting sorry i’m late i was watching a cat video i always expected this to make a sale so maybe this will eventually But throw pillow love you mostest this is my 20 sale and i’m gonna quickly just go and check out success but i think it’s going to tell me that the um traffic came from direct if i put not so gentage um i forgot on the english word guys oh my god Guys i don’t know what’s going on with my brain right now i i just think in italian constantly but sorgente is source so i need to write source here and click source medium it’s probably going to say direct yeah so this is not helpful to me because probably they came from a Payment gateway like gate way like stripe or paypal so yeah it’s not gonna show me on google analytics you have to press back twice and because i already clicked on another link i have to then press back twice again and basically google analytics is an absolute nightmare in terms of user Experience the second thing i’m going to do is i’m going to click on throw pillow love umostis probably it’s going to tell me the same thing that the traffic was direct i’ve just written sort of gender instead of source again i’m gonna click on source slash medium it says direct again so i’m Gonna actually just try country and see what it says here one of them is gonna be italy two united states interesting so these are actually both united states that could have been two sales today that would have been beautiful imagine that so this is i don’t think we can get any other Useful information from this particular method but i am gonna have a look through other methods direct is an interesting one though so it might be a little bit tougher to find out so i’m gonna do site redbubble.com and then i’m gonna do in url stream surfer and then in title Valentine just to see if this design has any chance of being found directly on google which it does not so if i remove in title valentine just for people who are not familiar with what i’m doing i’m using a search operator to look at my own redbubble store And if i put in title for example job that didn’t work okay uh that didn’t work because i put job inside of jobs google is kind of annoying about that for some reason so i put day instead and you can see that my design is right here another one of my Designs but not this design okay let me just try putting mostis here oh it is indexed oh interesting i did not know that okay so why did that not work before when i put valentine oh the in title must take uh the meta title and um it must not include valentine it does Look at that that’s so strange though it doesn’t appear when i type valentine but it appears when i type mostest so this could have been the method of entrance like maybe here but i i highly doubt it so because none of these are throw pillows remember i sold A throw pillow this is a photographic print this is a canvas print this is a design travel mug so the other thing i can do is i can actually do in text stream surfer and then this if i do in url shop minus people all of these are going To be readable search result pages that my store is mentioned on so i want to actually find my design so i’m going to put valentine here it could have been through here although this is a strange keyword i guess um oh it could have been here this could be it right here Yeah this uh i think this is probably the method of entry honestly it’s a weird way to phrase that but most likely they came from one of these and i remember making this keyword i remember finding this keyword using my search operator method if you want to learn about how to find Keywords using this one but i hope this helps you guys understand what my process is i would Probably bet all of my money that one of these two pages was how they found the design in the first place there is a chance that they also just searched this directly on to redbubble because i think this is just something people think and it’s like a little joke You know what i mean it’s like a ubiquitous i forgot how to say that word again ubiquitous joke like it’s known around the world that love you most this is a funny thing to say so people search it and my design may have come my sale may have come from This or it may have come from here this is a disadvantage of google analytics and redbubble it’s not always completely accurate and as you can see here it says direct i highly doubt it’s direct traffic like how how would they get directly onto this design it doesn’t make any sense So yeah that’s my guess that they came from this or from this i hope this helps you guys find out where your sales are coming from and maybe how to optimize it i like to do this every time i make a sale just to kind of see the process and to See what things are working and this makes me remember that search operators do work very very well for sales i just think this store it was missing quality designs there are very very few quality designs on my organic redbubble store there are some this has made 13 sales for example This has made a lot of sales i think oh this has made sales this never made sales ever which i’m really sad about because it’s had so much traffic it’s actually insane how much traffic this gets if i just show you guys it’s still getting traffic although i think I think i just saw that it was losing traffic because i would expect there to be more here so if i go on pages of report again let me just quickly show you this guys because i think this is a a good tip that i haven’t talked about for a while…
