iPhone X Space Gray Unboxing & First Impressions
Hey guys, Oli here. The iPhone 10 is out, and Oli wishes it was called the iPhone X. However, Apple is branding it as iPhone 10, so we’ll stick with that for now. Oli just got his today and wanted to show you the quick unboxing and share his first impressions.
Unboxing Experience
Oli received the standard Apple packaging – a white box with the iPhone on the front. Upon opening the box, he found the documentation, foam, USBC headphones, a 3.5mm adapter, USB, and a plug. Oli chose the Space Gray model with 64GB of storage and found the finish to be glossy and classy. The phone is noticeably thicker compared to previous models, which Oli finds to be a positive aspect.
First Impressions
The iPhone X features a large OLED screen with a notch at the top, which Oli was worried about before getting the phone. However, after using it for a couple of hours, he found that the notch doesn’t bother him and is hardly noticeable. The setup process was a breeze, and face ID was easy to use. However, Oli noted that it was different from using touch ID and will take some getting used to.
Oli sees both pros and cons of face ID. While it’s easy to use and convenient for Apple Pay, it can be frustrating when the phone is on a desk and not angled towards the user. Despite the initial adjustment, Oli believes that face ID is the direction Apple is heading in for future models. He plans to do a full review soon, where he will delve into the phone’s features, including face ID and the camera.
