Everything I Wish People Had Told Me As A Beginner On Redbubble

Hey guys what is going on this is gonna be a red bubble rant i want to talk about a few things and it’s mainly to do with uh things that every single person with a redbubble account should do so you should watch this even though i’m gonna say that it’s mainly for people Who have just started their stores.

Think Long Term

The first thing you should do is to think long term okay i feel like there’s this really um bad way of thinking about things where you think about things in terms of one to six months okay but let’s be honest okay i’ve been on Redbubble now for almost three years it does not feel like three years but because of my refusal to think long term and because i didn’t set the fundamentals in place because i didn’t think they were that important at the time i have lost so many sales and this is What i really really want to focus on today.

Evergreen Niches

So trending designs are okay you can make decent sales okay and there’s nothing wrong with focusing on trending designs mainly but you need to make sure that you nail the evergreen niches i’m just going to write eg because it’s too hard to write with this for Some reason it’s even harder today as it is nor normally so evergreen what am i talking about here i’m talking about valentine’s day so valentine’s i’ll just write valve not birthday’s christmas and then you can have a really really long through look through everything to find different holidays but you want to Have at least 10 designs for each big holiday and two to three designs for smaller holidays like i really can’t think of examples like right now like hanukkah i guess or i don’t know 420 or you know what i mean just less popular holidays you won’t have two Three designs and the reason is because whether you like it or not time is passing year by year okay and every single time every single year these pass okay you can make more sales in the months of valentine’s and christmas than you can all year if you think about it.

Store Name

Another thing I want to talk about is the name of your redbubble store this is quite a niche thing but I do want to show you this so if you’re unaware your redbubble store name is actually quite important because it appears in your URL.

Social Media Promotion

Definitely remember or definitely set up your store first of all with evergreen niches in mind. I discovered yesterday like literally yesterday I know that twitter is insanely old but twitter is really really powerful for this kind of thing pinterest is super powerful for this kind of thing instagram is super powerful in oh god honey spell insta and uh facebook is also really powerful i would at the very least recommend that you have these For social medias for any redbubble or print on demand store and then definitely expand into others twitter is an absolute definite pinterest is an absolute definite these two maybe question marks if you can’t really be bothered but definitely you need some kind of social media when you start a Store mainly because it takes one to three months to even start appearing on google i’ve made a video about this i’ve shown this in evidence so your store will not be indexed on google for one to three months so make sure that you are sharing on social Media if you want to make some sales at the beginning of your store.

Explore Other Print on Demand Platforms

Final thing i want to talk about is your social medias i discovered yesterday like literally yesterday i know that twitter is insanely old but twitter is really really powerful for this kind of thing pinterest is super powerful for this kind of thing instagram is super powerful in oh god honey spell insta and uh facebook is also really powerful i would at the very least recommend that you have these For social medias for any redbubble or print on demand store and then definitely expand into others twitter is an absolute definite pinterest is an absolute definite these two maybe question marks if you can’t really be bothered but definitely you need some kind of social media when you start a Store mainly because it takes one to three months to even start appearing on google i’ve made a video about this i’ve shown this in evidence so your store will not be indexed on google for one to three months so make sure that you are sharing on social Media if you want to make some sales at the beginning of your store actually the final thing i want to talk about is if you’re just getting started with redbubble print on demand you need to immediately be looking at merch by amazon have a look at zazzle Oh my god that was terrible writing uh have a look at t public i think it’s a good one um and i’m sure other people will have some suggestions in the comments but basically uh i was supposed to say spreadshirt but i can’t be bothered to write it properly Let me just take an example from my own store which i know has good um keywords to it so let’s try i just want to bring for that sake so i just say is this still number one am i still number one here no no your meme is number one so redbubble is here and then there should be okay so in this case oh there we go here’s amazon what the hell what is that i’m trying to show you how there we go t public please be the right thing yeah okay perfect so this is not my Design and the reason it’s not my design is because i am not on t public okay so if i was on t public and this is just one example okay there are other examples then i would be dominating the niche more okay is this mine yeah by stream surface it’s Still mine that’s hilarious still hasn’t made a sale i…
