Check one two hey guys what’s going on
It’s me Will Patterson back again with another reddit critique video that you guys love so much. Like always in these videos, I basically check the most upvoted designs that you’ve put on here and critique them. I may just showcase them on the channel, either way you either learn something or you’re inspired by it. So let’s dive into the designs!
Outdoor Brand Logo Concept
We’ve got one here with 67 upvotes and it’s a concept for an outdoor brand logo. The first thing I love about this is the color. It has that foresty outdoorish army green vibe. Let’s run down the list of things that I’m looking for in a logo: appropriate, check; simple, yes; memorable, check; scalable, looks good. The only suggestion I have is to thicken the negative space lines to match the positive space. Aside from that, it looks really good and works in the negative space too.
15 Weird and Wonderful Facts about Space
The next design with 56 upvotes is about space. It’s not a local design but the final university project. The orbiting pattern and art style are very consistent and well-done. I love the style and how you’ve carried it throughout the whole project. Really nice work!
Rebranding Concept for Amigo.com
This next one is a rebranding concept for amigo.com. While the icon looks okay, the logo type is illegible. The first rule of logo design is that it has to be legible or unique. While the concept is interesting, the execution needs to be simpler for better readability. Feedback from the community echoes similar sentiments.
Recent Logo Projects
The last one with 36 upvotes is a design for a sports clothing company named Gravitate. It’s clean but somewhat generic due to the missing crossbar. Overall, some really nice designs with great potential!

Before we continue, let’s take a moment to thank the sponsor of this video, NordVPN. NordVPN is the fastest and easiest VPN solution for ensuring your online security. Use code “willpatterson” for a special deal on a 2-year plan with a bonus gift.
Conclusion
Overall, we’ve seen some really cool designs with unique concepts and execution. Keep up the great work, and stay creative!
