Showing my 2020 Logo Design Work! (Client Rewind 2020)
Hey guys, what’s going on? It’s me Will Patterson. Today, I’m going to be showing you some of my projects from the past year. So, these are branding projects – one of them is a hand lettering project that I want to show you. It’s going to be a good video watch, so stay tuned to the end. You will learn so much about what I’ve done this year. It is the 2020 look back or my rewind of client work this year. This video is brought to you by AppSumo.
The Apian Way: A Cosmetic Branding Project
The first project I want to show you is a cool client project that I had to brand, which is the Apian Way. For some context, the Apian Way is a cosmetic company that is just starting out. The word “apian” means bees, so it means that the product inside it has got an inspiration from bees and the way they work – honey, stuff like that. It was a mid to high-end consumer targeting, more towards women than towards men. The branding was for cosmetics, such as face creams, nail polishes, etc.
Here is the actual presentation for mock-ups way into the process of creating a logo for Apian Way. We’ve got the logo, clinical face cream, clinical moisturizer. I was inspired by the minimal look from the Logo Geek, and the way the packaging seamlessly worked together.
I used Procreate to create different icons that were very geometric and simplistic for the logo. For the logo type, I created a typeface that was minimal but had a high-end feel to it. The color aspect was focused on a bit of a golden look to represent honey but keeping things modern and minimal.
Brooks Mold: A Business Rebranding Project
The next project is Brooks Mold, a rebranding project for a molding business that makes molds for bathroom appliances and other industrial products. The goal was to create a highly professional and unique branding that would stand out against their competitors.
I sketched out ideas for a geometric icon to suggest molding and create a sense of depth. I experimented with different typefaces and icons before finalizing the logo. The final result was a modern and minimal composition that represented the business’s professional and unique approach.
In conclusion, these projects from 2020 showcase my expertise in branding and logo design. Each project required a unique approach and attention to detail, resulting in successful branding solutions for the clients. As I look back on these projects, I am proud of the work I’ve done and look forward to taking on new challenges in the upcoming year. Thank you for watching my 2020 logo design work rewind!
