Introduction

Hey guys welcome back to my channel. This video is not going to be like any other video I’ve ever made on this channel before. I have discovered a way to generate art which can be used to generate NFT collections and eventually sell an NFT collection yourself for free or for very little money on the Polygon network. This will be in future videos, but in this video, I want to show you this art engine that a person called Hashlicks created. All credit where credit is due, this thing is insanely powerful. You don’t even need Photoshop or anything. All of this in this video I’m going to show you is open source, you don’t need to pay for anything, and you can create a collection of up to 10,000 NFTs for free. Additionally, this can probably be used for print on demand as well. If you can put the pieces together and let me know how you would use this for print on demand in the comments. I will also make a video on that. I am not a programmer, this does require some understanding of programming, but I am going to show you exactly how to do it, even if you don’t understand programming because I am not a programmer myself. I do know the basics, but I think anyone could understand the basics pretty easily.

What is the Art Engine?

So, what actually is this? This tool takes layers on the left, and on the right, unique generated content is automatically created. Every single one will be guaranteed to be unique, which is why this thing is so powerful. And definitely, guys, if you know how to use this for print on demand, please let me know.

How it Works

This tool uses an open-source art engine created by Hashlicks. It will generate metadata which allows you to set rarity and give objects to your NFTs. It does require some understanding of programming, but I’m going to show you the very basics of how to get this thing running, even if you’re not a programmer yourself. All you really have to do to get this to go is change the layers and make it run. If there’s an error, it’s probably due to a missing dependency.

Getting Started

To begin, go to hashclips.online and click on the image to access the GitHub repository for the art engine. Download the zip file, and then also download Visual Studio Code, which is necessary to complete the process. Once you have Visual Studio Code installed, extract the art engine files and open the folder in Visual Studio Code. From there, follow the instructions in the README file, starting with running yarn install. If you encounter an error during this process, it is likely due to missing dependencies or packages. Search for the error message online to find a solution.
