Using Pinterest to Find T-shirt Ideas
Okay guys, so as usual we’re looking for t-shirt ideas or just print on demand ideas because I’m obsessed with finding methods. I thought it’d be a good idea to just go on Pinterest and type in funny t-shirts and it turns out I was right because this actually seems like a really good way to find keywords.
Using Google Adword Keyword Planner
I’m going to use Google Adword keyword planner because it gives accurate suggestions as to the volume of a keyword. If you don’t know how to set this up, there’s a video in the description. It’s completely free but you just need to do a kind of special thing to get it set up.
Discovering Keywords on Pinterest
I wanted to try this one here first: “I’m not a hot mess, I’m a spicy disaster.” It does have searches every month up to 100, and the amount of results on Redbubble is 763, so already I would say that was a pretty good keyword.
Another thing we can do if this isn’t giving us results is use keyword tool.io.
Exploring Keyword Tool.io
I’ve talked about both these tools in most of my videos. Keyword tool.io shows that “just don’t push” seems to be a bit more popular. This keyword has 10 to 100 searches every month, so there’s definitely some demand for this niche.
Finding Humorous T-shirt Ideas
There’s a really funny one: “The early bird can have the worm because worms are gross and mornings are stupid.” That’s really hilarious.
Identifying Trending Keywords
I searched “lose what Red Bubble please?” and found that “Oh for fox sake” is a huge niche, with up to 1,000 searches every month. Redbubble doesn’t appear for this keyword, but it’s a really good keyword, nonetheless.
Using Pinterest for Niche Ideas
This is a really good way to find keywords because most people who use Pinterest are using what is the reactions. They are the pod experts, so they know what’s selling. So if we just take their niches, we’ve got a huge list of t-shirt text-based designs to choose from.
I’m happy with this, it seems like it’s working very well. Definitely check this out for yourselves guys. The people that use Pinterest are the best.
