What’s In My Bag
Doo-doo-doo am I in focus yes Sami focus some actually in LA I’m here on a salt holiday work slash holiday sort of thing just seeing what la is like here for a good week and a half by the time you see this video I might actually ought to be back in the UK so yeah I’m recording this in LA in a nice evening beer actually it’s actually it’s actually pretty nice I’m hoping the light is okay because I’m using natural light I don’t have my sort of like studio life photography like whatever so anyway let’s get into it. What is up guys earlier here so obviously when you’re traveling and stuff you usually have a backpack with only were sort of essentials and stuff so I wanted to do a song what’s in my bag whats in my sort of everyday bag that I use because I tried to be as lean As possible try to be as minimal as possible try to carry just the essentials you know try to be as sort of light as possible as well because I don’t want to carry on a big heavy backpack with lots of stuff in it you Know I want to be as lean and light as possible so let’s start with what is the most important thing the backpack of course so I’m actually using this incase backpack the DSLR pro backpack I think it is this is the standard size they do A bigger version of this as well this is actually probably overkill even for me I don’t actually need this much space and I don’t need a bag this big but my la trip was very last minute so I ended up going with this one and there are Actually a few little things I like about this bag which is why I chose it so in the back of this backpack you get like a grid for your photography stuff you know you can put lenses you can put your camera you can put all sorts of Stuff in here and you can divide it up how you like it’s all just dumped like velcro so you can move things around it’s pretty good and you know it’s a good way to because someone who cares a lot for talk if you stuff this is ideal Because I wanted to be as lean as possible I’ve actually just got one camera but you can’t see it because I’m actually recording the video with the camera so yeah I only got one camera with one lens and I’ve just put it in here I’ve also got my monitor I’ve got my Tripod and stuff is on my troubling stuff usually in my suitcase but I’ve got all my one camera one lens and there’s actually a pocket at the top of the bag which is very useful you can just unzip it and quickly grab your camera without having to open the bag Completely and this is probably one of the features I love most about this bag you know I want to be able to have a bag just pull my camera out very quickly and then leave the bag in the car whatever not having to open the whole bag just Access my camera there’s also tons of other pockets around the bag and there’s a nice sort of separate compartment for your laptop for your iPad and other little accessories that you have.
My Essential Tech Gear
My computer of choice is my MacBook Pro 15 inches a 2016 model it’s not the brand New on 2016 model 1 terabyte SSD I think has Core i5 4 gigabyte graphics radiance 460 and it has a one terabyte SSD so this is currently my main machine it’s good enough for everything that I do you know I do 4k video editing I do photo Editing I do web design I do code development you know coding and stuff like that and I find this Coupee edge to be powerfully enough it would be nice to have something a bit more powerful but it handles 4k footage for my Sony a7 3 in Final Cut Pro no problem you know So yeah good enough everyday use I would have loved to be able to switch over to the iPad pro I stood I think I proposed there mainly because of the iOS limitations so instead I actually carry the iPad Mini 4 I love this little thing You know of course it’s not as big as an iPad pro powerfullest but has an iPad pro but the iPad Mini for me is just amazing you’re like the perfect media consumption device it’s really nice and thin it’s really nice and light the battery life is amazing and I used it For my 11-hour 12-hour flight here and I had like 20% battery left I use it to watch movies and TV shows I used to play games probably my favorite game right now is Kingdom rush I love Kingdom rush for like less hours of entertainment I Also of course have a USB C hub because the MacBook Pro doesn’t have any USB ports any standard USB ports so yeah this is pretty much my go-to sort of USB hub you know it has memory card slot micro sd has a USB C port so you can actually charge your macbook through This HDMI port mini DisplayPort and 2 USB APIs as well and it’s a really nice space great and looks really nice I think it looks and looks awesome matches the space great on the macbook pro very well when it comes to external battery pack so I actually have this one From me mine I don’t actually know how you say their name this is also space creates a lot of color it’s not exactly like Space Gray but it’s 10000 milliamps it’s really nice it’s made out of metal it feels really nice and solid I really like how it feels there’s a nice battery Indicator at the top there’s a USB C port and a USB port and a USB port and yeah it’s good enough I think I will probably change this at some point because 10,000 milliamp hours actually isn’t enough for me I think I might get 20,000 or 15,000 yeah 10,000 these days doesn’t Go how far really when it comes to charging my phone my watch and my iPad are probably enough getting a battery pack we can also charge my MacBook as well on the go so yeah I’ve got this for now.
My Travel Essentials
I’ve got this very sort of unique very sort of useful tsuitachi sort of like power break so it has a two pins of adapter on the back here so you can plug it into whatever pour whatever on the front it has two standard USB Ports which provide up to 2.4 amps it also has a quick charge port so you know if you have a fine that supports quick charging this is a useful and also has a USB C port and this USB C port can actually used to charge my macbook my MacBook Pro I forget exactly the power I don’t think it’s the 487 Watts that you get with the standard MacBook Pro sort of like brick they get from Apple but this is smaller than that brick and because it has USB ports as well in it you can charge your phone you can charge Your watch you can charge your iPad and whatever else and also has a quick charge so yeah being able to charge my macbook my phone my watch my iPad all from this one fabric is very very useful I’m very very neat you know I don’t have to worry about carrying sort of adapters And things like that I just take this whenever I I travel and it does the job very good and I think so touch actually released a new one very recently I’m…
