So first of all, let’s give you an update on this store as you can see we are getting traffic and it is from social media. This is something that normally when I have a Redbubble account, this doesn’t happen because I don’t do any social media pushing. But I haven’t made any sales yet, okay, which is probably to be expected if you take an e-commerce percentage conversion rate of one percent. I still need another 70 visitors to technically make a sale.

But what is really cool is that the bot works. I haven’t been banned. It’s been about a month and my Instagram is looking fairly strong. I’ve got 159 followers, which normally would take me a few months to get if I was just doing it normally by posting pictures or whatever it might be. In terms of the Instagram method, getting followers does work, but I do want to talk about the bots because I think oftentimes we think tools are necessary when maybe they’re not necessary.

But if you’re just doing this to try and increase your sales, I think you can just manually follow people. Following people in your niche is a really nice way to get followers. However, the Instagram bot has a couple of problems. Sometimes it starts to click on people who you’re already following and it gets stuck, similar to the RuneScape bots I used back in the day. Another problem is that if you’re already following all the people on a certain page, the bot doesn’t know what to do. It lacks the ability to scroll automatically, which can be frustrating.

After using the Instagram bot for a week, do I think it’s worth it? Personally, I don’t think it’s worth the $20 price tag when you can achieve similar results by spending 10 minutes manually following people.
